My Platform

Clear Communication from the City
Kaysville is growing, and with that growth comes many important projects—road improvements and closures, infrastructure updates, new subdivisions, business changes, and general city maintenance. Each of these efforts plays a role in building a healthy, thriving community. Residents have expressed a strong desire to be kept informed, and that feedback matters.
As someone who values transparency and responsiveness, I want to ensure residents are kept in the loop. In my profession, if I don’t have an immediate answer, I make it a priority to find it—and I believe city government should work the same way. Open communication builds trust, and I am committed to providing clear, timely information to the people of Kaysville.

The Main Street Project
The revitalization of Main Street is a significant project for our city. While we’ve already received valuable input and support, we remain in the planning phase. It’s critical that we spend public funds wisely and plan not just for today—but for the long-term success of our downtown.
In my work in real estate and construction, no home begins without a clear master plan and a responsible budget. We don’t start with a staircase and hope the rest comes together—we plan carefully, step by step. I believe the same thoughtful, structured approach should guide our Main Street redevelopment. I’m committed to ensuring this project reflects the community’s vision and supports future generations.

Responsible Housing
Housing is a complex and important issue—one that touches on affordability, density, sustainability, and the future character of our city. Questions like, “Do we need more housing?”, “What role should higher-density or ‘soft-density’ options play?”, and “How do we preserve the charm of Kaysville while adapting to growth?” all deserve careful, respectful consideration.
Rather than rushing into decisions, we need to ask: What do Kaysville residents want their city to look and feel like in 10, 20, or 50 years? For example, flag lots were once common but have become less desirable over time—why is that, and what can we learn from it? Our decisions today will shape Kaysville’s future. I believe we should move forward thoughtfully, guided by community input, local values, and long-term vision.
