A life-long resident of northern Illinois, Jerry McBride graduated from Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL. He studied business at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration in 1990.

He began his professional career with Northwest Mutual Life Insurance as a trainee, soon becoming a skilled insurance broker. He joined his father and brother in the McBride Insurance Agency. The agency has had a presence in DuPage County for more than 20 years; Jerry McBride has personally provided insurance products and advice to DuPage community members for 19 years.

Living and working in central DuPage, motivated to improve the quality of living for all community members, Jerry McBride has been an active member of several community volunteer boards and participated in numerous community development initiatives. His current community affiliations and leadership experience include:

• Board Member of Metropolitan Family Services of DuPage
• Member of St. Petronille Parish in Glen Ellyn and Immaculate Conception Parish
• Volunteer and fundraiser for Misericordia Heart of Mercy (Chicago), home to children and adults with developmental disabilities
• Founding member of the Jubilee Board (fund-raising arm) for Outreach Community Ministries (Wheaton)
• Volunteer for Meals on Wheels (Glen Ellyn)
• Precinct committeeman for Milton Township Republican Committee

In the past, Jerry McBride has worked as a volunteer for organizations committed to civic betterment and charitable goals

• Member and committee chair of Main Street Redevelopment Committee in Forest Park (committee bridged business and private organizations with the Village of Forest Park with the goal of redeveloping Madison Street in Forest Park)

Jerry McBride’s education, experience, and commitment to the overall quality of life in DuPage County qualifies him to serve on the County Board of Dupage County.
